OpenLAB showcases the varied practices and uses of technology in the creative industries, presented by Media Lab Melbourne in partnership with ACMI X. For OpenLAB August, Media Lab Melbourne is celebrating Science Week with Dr. Drew Berry, a biomedical animator who creates beautiful, accurate visualisations of the dramatic cellular and molecular action that is going on inside our bodies, and Jiann Hughes, a Belfast-born artist and researcher creating speculative fabulations to challenge boundaries, particularly those used to define and constrain human bodies.
